Being 'duly diligent' - 23/09/2008
Anybody buying a business is taking a big risk. Exactly how a business is run, how well its affairs have been managed, what skeletons it may have lurking in a cupboard are things which the purchaser cannot know without acquiring some detailed inside information about the company. The purchaser will try to get that inside information through a process called “due diligence” which will try to investigate every aspect of the target company or business.
